Cox’s Bazar is a resort town in southeastern Bangladesh, on the shores of the Bay of Bengal. The only beach area in the country is located here. South of the city is the longest natural beach on the planet – Inani Beach. Its length reaches 125 km. On the local beaches you can just swim and sunbathe, there is an opportunity to go water skiing or scooters, go diving and surfing, go on a trip along the coast on a yacht. However, it should be borne in mind that Islamic traditions do not approve of the appearance of women on the beaches without a special bathing suit. There are many Buddhist temples in the vicinity of the city, and its architecture shows the influence of neighboring Myanmar. Dulhazara Safari Park is 50 km away, where you can see many wild animals in their natural habitat.
